This program requires completion of 91 credit hours. Our classes are conveniently offered in morning and evening sessions to accommodate diverse schedules. By completing this program, graduates can obtain national certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA). Massage Therapy Program This Associate Degree Program at our Center requires the completion of 90.5 credit hours in order to graduate as a Massage Therapy Associate in Science. To obtain a license in Florida, you will need to successfully pass the board exam. Our Center offers classes in both morning and evening sessions, providing flexibility to accommodate various schedules, including Fridays and Saturdays. Pharmacy Management This Associate Degree Program requires the completion of 101 credit hours in order to graduate as a Pharmacy Management Associate in Science. Once you meet the program requirements, you will be eligible to apply for a Florida Pharmacy Technician license. Additionally, you can also apply for the exam to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Diploma Programs Electrology Program The Electrology Program includes Electrolysis and Laser classes in 320 hours, divided into 120 theoretical and 200 practical. This course offers face-to-face and hybrid classes. Hybrid is 120 hours of theory online , and the practices are at school. Skin Care Program Skin Care Program is 260 hours, with theoretical and practice hours. This course offers face-to-face and hybrid classes. Hybrid is 189 hours of theory online, and 71 hours with practices at the school. Graduates can apply for a License in Florida License and Certification Most of the programs we offer require you to apply for a license with your respective board according to the State of Florida. This license or registration demonstrates that this professional or technician is qualified with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and successfully perform the work they perform, thus the original license is granted by the board. As part of this regulation, some boards require the graduate to apply for and pass a board examination, and other boards only require the applicant to have graduated from a board-approved school training program. Skin Care and Pharmacy Management are programs we offer that do not require a Board exam. Board Examination or National Certification Some of our programs requiere you to apply for License in Florida and pass satisfactory results on an exam from the respective Board. Electrolysis Board Exam Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School (FMAIS) offers an examination preparation course for those who have already graduated and are pending the board exam. Students from other schools are accepted. Our school reports a high first-attempt pass rate. Electrolysis Council Massage Therapy Board Exam This Associate Degree Program at our Center requires the completion of 90.5 credit hours in order to graduate as a Massage Therapy Associate in Science.
